My mother died in 1996, followed by father in 1998.

Both died after a prolonged sickness.

Before joining this school I did not know about KET

at all. I told the headmaster about my financial

position concerning schoolfees and my doubts as to whether I could proceed with my studies. He explained to me about KET, which supports orphans in education. Now KET is responsible for all my school needs, and I have no doubt that I will perform well in classes.

I wake up everyday at 0500hrs to go to school, spending two hours walking. As a girl I am risking a lot of hazards. This is because I love education and want to be educated.

I don't have enough time to study when at home because I become very tired due to long distance which I have to walk to and from school. I wish to join boarding school in order to perform well in class. I advise my fellow students to respect the dignity of being a youth by preventing themselves from AIDS and other social hazards.

I want to be a doctor!!
